Will resizing reduce image quality?

Downscaling can sharpen perceived detail by averaging pixels; upscaling invents data and looks soft. Start from the largest source file whenever you need multiple sizes.

What does aspect-ratio lock do?

Locking preserves the original proportions so only one edge needs typing — the other auto-calculates. Unlock when you need a forced canvas such as 1:1 avatars.

Which formats can I output?

Typical exports are PNG for transparency, JPG for photos, and WebP for modern browsers. Pick the format that matches your delivery channel.

Is there a max file size?

Processing stays in-browser, so limits depend on available RAM. Very large panoramas may need pre-cropping elsewhere first.

Use the tool’s multi-file flow if present; otherwise resize hero assets one at a time and download individually.

Do EXIF rotations apply automatically?

Most browsers honor orientation metadata during decode, but always visually confirm tall vs wide before publishing.

No server round-trip — files stay local unless you save them yourself.

How do I hit exact pixel specs?

Type target width and height, then verify both dimensions in the preview metadata before download.
